BWAHAH. Another old painting. Oh god.
Worst painting I’ve ever done. It was fun to begin with, because I had never painted on anything larger than a A3 paper before. But after a while I just got tired of the painting. It just looked so boring, so I gave up on it.
Yes, that’s supposed to be the TARDIS, but it just looks very stupid.
One of my teachers thought it was a building, and he has actually watched some Classic Who, so I thought he of all people would’ve known what it was. But nope. I guess that shows how failed this painting is. :I
Phil would definately be the best real life Doctor ever! :)
As some of you remember; I doodled the SourceFed crew a lá Doctor Who mode some time ago, and after doing so I thought it would only be fair to draw the PSD crew as well, which contains of our lovely Phil and his bestfriend Matty. So here they are, a lá Doctor Who mode! :D ♥
Just felt like making a doodle out of the sourcefed crew in a lá Doctor Who mode. c:
So I was wishing my Ood good luck on her oral exam some days ago by using the famous Hunger Games line “may the odds be with you”, but just after using that line; I had this image come to my mind instead.
I chuckled.
Finally got a hold of a scanner. Enjoy my poor attempt to make a cartoonish Amy Pond poster! :D
W.I.P. of “Keep Calm and Come Along”
- Derp draft of the idea
- Close up on Amy’s face
- Close up on the TARDIS & the sound effects text
- Almost done, final minor touch ups! (:
I’m sorry for the horrible quality, I had to take a picture of the painting with my cellphone’s camera (which isn’t very good as you can tell), since the drawing is painted on A3, and I didn’t have any access to any scanner that works for A3 pictures. ): I will upload a better quality-version when ever I get the chance to scan it properly~ But for now, this will have to do~!
This is for an assignment I got in class where we have to paint (using acrylics) posters that include some sort of movement and a sound effect. And since I’m in my Whovian-phase, I just couldn’t help to do something Doctor Who related. The character in the painting (for those who aren’t familiar with Doctor Who) is Amy Pond. It’s not that she’s my favourite companion, because she isn’t, but because she’s sort of a celeb-girl-crush-thing. +___+ And also; she’s just so beautiful (and funny<3)!
And then of course, we cannot forget the TARDIS. (:
I’m not so sure about the sound effects though, it was actually really difficult for me to come up with how I would manage to make the sounds of the TARDIS, into actual lettered-out words. “VWORP VWORP” was the closest I got to what ever the breaks on the TARDIS sound like.
Some random doodles I made at school today. + ___ + It is what it is.
I don’t even know what this fuckery is.
In case you felt like that you had no idea what the hell was going on, it’s okay;
the comic is titled “The Comic That Doesn’t Make Sense” (:
I finished school earlier today since our art class was canceled because our teachers were on a conference. But since we have access to the art class, we went there to finish up our portfolio covers. :B I only had to paint some final touches like light and stuff, and then I was done, so I had nothing to do. I then decided to take a piece of cloth, those that are used for canvases, only a small piece, and paint on it. And since I am in this sudden Doctor Who-phase, I was inspired by this post I saw on my dashboard, I haven’t seen the episode yet, but it was something about Van Gogh. And everytime I hear his name, I think of his painting Starry Night, so I painted a mini “replica” of it and gave it a tiny Doctor Who-touch. <3
Can you see what I did differently from the original Starry Night 8D?
